Sam Shackleton Pittsburgh Concert reviews
Porcupine Tree Good, Coheed Bad
Porcupine Tree should have been the headliner. How did this arrangement happen? It makes no sense. The Dear Hunter ended before the stated show time on the ticket, creating mass confusion as the seating changed on the day of the show. Coheed and Cambria set up strobe lights aimed at the audience and flashed them near continuously, overextending the speakers past the limit of good sound. This show should have issued refunds.
Despite a short show from Porcupine Tree, it was incredible. Luckily, they were good enough to save the evening. I felt like I was being assaulted by Sam Shackleton after 3 songs. I traveled over 300 miles to see the show and missed the first act, having to leave early.
